People's Republic of Improv (PRI) has been performing together for the last seven years. They are one of Los Angeles' longest running improv groups outside of an improv school setting. The five cast members, Sean Michael Boozer, Jennifer Burton, Tina-Louise Eckert, Jim O'Brien, and Tara Jean O'Brien, have been the core members of the group for the last four years, and yet, still live to tell their tales and perform their gut busting improvised comedy.

Having started at the Powerhouse Theater in Los Angeles, they have been an active part of the Santa Monica theater scene. In the past, they have performed at local Children's Hospitals and hope to continue to be involved in local charitable organizations.
